Kim Trumbo


(1 of 1)-3Kim (Left) grew up in Sutherlin, Oregon. She is the middle child of 5 children, and you can probably tell that my her outgoing demeanor! In High School Kim played soccer, basketball and softball. She graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Health. In college, while playing on an IWFL women’s tackle football team, she realized she was gay. You can hear that story in Episode 1. Her senior year in college is when she met her wife and best friend, Heather. They married after being together for 7 years on October 9th, 2009. Now that it’s LEGAL in Oregon, they plan on turning their “Domestic Partnership” into a Marriage License soon! These two are raising their niece as their own and have been happily parenting her for the past 3+ years. They have 2 dogs and 3 cats, and love spending time together doing fun things like boating and camping. Kim started her podcast called Generosity Philosophy back in November 2013 and interviews inspiring people and nonprofits who are making a positive difference in the world. She and her family are looking forward to creating financial freedom, inspiring others to be kind and generous, as well as be a guiding light for everyone who identifies as LGBT- young or old.

Molly Richardson


Molly (bottom) grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up loving and playing all kinds of sports, especially soccer. Her high school team won two State Championships, when she graduated and she headed up to Terre Haute, Indiana to go to Engineering School. Listen to Episode 1 to hear about her coming out story during her senior year of high school. After she earned her Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, she moved to Huntsville, Alabama for a government job. Although it is a great job with amazing people, she has struggled with coming out at work and still is not completely out. She married her best friend and wife, Andrea, on February 15, 2014. They currently live in Alabama, and have not gone to another state to get a marriage certificate. Molly has started her own company since graduating, TotallyInfused. The moment she gained the courage to be herself and share her personal story, her business truly blossomed. She is now on a path to financial freedom and aspires to inspire both LGBT and female youth to reach for their dreams.
